Hunger and Buffet...

Buffets are a staple of any suburban community in America. It has sprouted like mushrooms. Majority serve Chinese food sprinkled with some basic sushi on the side. Buffets evolved from a bunch of different food groups like the Chinese take-outs, the Super size it fast foods, and even value meals. The king of these Buffet cravings is of course Vegas. Whatever you eat in Vegas stays in your belly should be the statement. Chanco Brothers would love to have a big sign when you arrive Vegas to feed the world and help the hungry. Buffets are a big waste as it is planning to have excess and it is hard to distribute properly. While it is good that some buffets would charge for food not consumed on your plate, the better consequence is that the excess goes to a food shelter and the income from the excess donated to a hunger oriented cause. Chanco Brothers are passionate on the food we eat and are not against buffets. It’s always good to have a selection and to have it readily available but we must eat moderately to affect a positive change in the balance of food. We have a world where there are hungry people. Even in our backyard that we call America, almost fifty percent of African Americans and Latino’s are considered chronically hungry. Let’s do our share one bite at a time.
